When Troubled, Speak to God in Prayer

Have you ever felt troubled or very low before, and could speak to someone helpful? How did you feel after the conversation? I am certain that you were partially relieved, if not totally relieved.

So also, when troubled, speak to God: He always got the solution you are looking for. He understands what you are going through, and be assured that your case is not the first of its kind that He would be handling, because He is 100% experienced. Don’t fret, speak to God in prayer; He is willing and waiting to hear from you. What he says to you may not feel like the solution you expect, but be confident that what He says is what you need. Therefore, when you feel pressured, call on God in prayer, He is there to help you.

Even Jesus, when He felt troubled, went to the garden of Gethsemane for just one purpose, to speak to God, and the strength He needed was given to Him (Luke 22:39–44; Matthew 26:36–44). Paul and Silas, when locked up in a prison, did the same; they spoke to God, and He delivered them (Acts 16:25–26). Hannah, the mother of Samuel, also applied this, and she was lifted from a state of despondency to becoming the mother of a prominent prophet.

Remember “that men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1, NKJV). So, “pray at all times” with faith that God who sees and knows all will be there to assist you (1 Thessalonians 5:17, GNT).

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” (Philippians 4:6, NLT)
