Let Your Life Show God to Men (Poem)

Can a man be so true
And so diligent
That he could be entrusted
A kingdom?

That he be found faithful
By his enemies
That they find in him
No loopholes.

That he so serves God
That men could seek his fall
Through his worship
To his God.

Can a man be so faithful
That a death by lions
Did not stop his reverence
To Yahweh?

Can a man so trust God
That though death be pronounced
On him,
He chooses to trust his God?

Can a man so depend on God
That the unbelieving would
Reverend his God
As the Living God?

Daniel was such a man
Who stood in integrity,
Trusted God in the time of danger,
And made an unbelieving king fear God.
