Dare to Be for God (Poem)
Dare to be a Joseph
Dare to flee from sin
Dare to live a righteous life
Regardless of the woes
Dare to be a Job
Dare to honour God
Dare to live righteously
Even when in pain
Dare to be like Jesus
Dare to honour God
Dare to live for a purpose
Dare to fulfil it
Dare to be an Elisha
Dare to leave all
Dare to have a pursuit
Dare to not give up
Dare to be like Naaman
Dare to seek for help
Dare to be humble as you seek for it
And do say “Thank you!” when you have been helped
Dare to be a Paul
Dare to live for Christ
Dare to uphold Him
Wherever you go
Dare to be a Moses
Dare to obey God
Dare to lead with meekness
Though thy authority
Dare to be an Enoch
Dare to walk with God
Dare to be willing
To abide with Him
Dare to be an Elijah
Dare to abide with God
Even when you feel alone
Dare to trust Him still
Dare to be a Peter
Dare to be remorse when you go astray
Dare to leave your sin
And do love the Lord
Dare to be among the Hebrew brethren
Dare to uphold God
Though the furnace rages hot
Dare to die for Him
Dare to be like Caleb
Dare to trust the Lord
Though thy enemies are like giants
Dare to trust God will fight for you
Dare to be like Abraham
Dare to live by faith
Dare to follow God
Wherever He leads
Dare to be an Israel
Dare to seek for change
Dare to pray fervently
Till thy change comes
Dare to be like David
Dare to please the Lord
If you ever find sin in thee
Dare to seek God’s face
Dare to have a faith so strong
Like the bleeding ma’am
Dare to strive for breakthrough
Dare to touch Christ’s hem
Dare to be a Mary
Dare to be pure
Dare to honour God’s will
Dare to do His command
Dare to be like Joseph (the carpenter)
Dare to be patient
Even when you don’t understand God’s command
Dare to obey Him
Dare to be a Dorcas
Dare to help the poor
Dare to live for others
As the Lord lived for us
Dare to have faith
Like the Centurion
Dare to trust in God’s power
Dare to believe His authority
Dare to have faith
Like blind Bartimaeus
Even when the crowd hush you shut
Dare cry out to Christ
Dare to live in obedience
Dare to do God’s will
Dare to say NO to sin
Dare to die in Christ
Dare to be a Daniel
Dare to stand alone
Dare to have a purpose firm
Dare to make it known- Philip Paul Bliss
