A Cry for Consecration (Poem)

I am tired of saying I am sorry
And still do the same wrong
I am tired of saying I love You
And still do what You hate
I am tired of saying I want to walk with You
And still compromise my faith

I am tired of telling others of You
Whilst living like one who doesn’t know You

Without You, there is no life
Without You, there is no me
Without You, there is no need for my existence
Lord, You are my everything
I need Thee

Help me Lord to know Thee
To love Thee
And walk with Thee
In thy righteous truth all my life
Help me live for You, Lord
Please, help me

There’s nothing I can tell the world without You
There is no impact without Your help
There is absolutely nothing I can do
If you are not in this vessel

Dear Father, hear my cry;
By Your mercy, help this vessel.
Make me whole
And use me as You please.

“Lord, you gave us your instructions and told us to always obey them. 5) How I wish I could be more faithful in obeying your laws! 6) Then I would never feel ashamed when I look closely at your commands” (Psalms 119:4‭-‬6, ERV).

“Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23, NKJV).

“For this is the will of God, that you be sanctified [separated and set apart from sin]…” (1 Thessalonians 4:3, AMP).

When He shall come with trumpet sound
Oh, may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless to stand before the throne

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
All other ground is sinking sand
